CreateSA works with Creative Australia, the Australian Bureau of Statistics, university and other industry research organisations to develop data to help understand the present state of artists and creatives, the sector and audiences.

Measuring Australia's Creative Workforce

CreateSA is a partner in an ARC-funded Linkage Project led by the University of Canberra and RMIT University, alongside Creative Australia, Creative WA and the City of Sydney.

This research explores career trajectories for embedded creative workers - in this case musicians working in education.

The South Australian Government commissioned Deloitte Access Economics to measure the direct economic contribution of creative businesses in South Australia using SA BLADE. The latest update (2024-25) will be available late 2026.
